Reddit is not a platform you “launch on.” It is a collection of communities with incompatible rules. The posts that work read as “I built this because X kept annoying me, here is what happened.” Link dumps get removed and accounts get banned.

If you sell to people who google ‘brand + reviews,’ Trustpilot is in that SERP. Claiming the domain and collecting genuine reviews is the work. Review gating and purchased stars are how you get burned — by Trustpilot and by every model that later cites the controversy.
