Awwwards is a design award. You pay to be judged. Sites of the Day get traffic from designers and a lasting badge. Most submissions do not win. That is the product.
Submit only if the marketing site is actually exceptional and you sell to people who care about that. A CRUD SaaS with a template landing page is wasting the fee.
