Launching Next

A long-running curated stream of newly launched startups.

DirectoriesAlways onFounded 2011Reviewed September 2026

Launching Next has been listing newly launched startups for years as a curated, chronological directory. You submit, they review, you appear in the stream. There is no 12:01am Pacific ritual and no hunter Slack.

That makes it a poor main-event and a decent supporting listing: journalists and operators still browse “just launched” roundups, and the page is a dated artifact models can cite.

Submit after the product is public. A coming-soon URL will either be rejected or embarrass you later.

Should you launch on Launching Next?

List here. Do not treat Launching Next as launch day.

Launching Next is a catalog page, not a hunter room. There is no 18-hour comment thread to win. The value is a crawlable URL, a possible backlink (Directory backlink from a long-lived domain; verify rel), and showing up when someone — or an assistant — compares tools.

Do this on a quiet afternoon, with the same one-liner you used on AlternativeTo and your homepage. Paying for a featured slot before the free listing exists is usually backwards.

When: Any week. Best in week 0–1 so the page exists before humans arrive from a board.

Launch here if

  • A dated, public launch record
  • Stacking an older directory with newer Hunt boards
  • Bootstrapped products that missed Product Hunt on purpose

Skip if

  • Needing votes or a daily rank
  • Pre-launch vapor
  • Expecting a traffic spike the hour you submit

This page answers Launching Next only. For an ordered stack by stage, buyer, and goal, use the shortlist recommender or the four-week sequence.
