Listed Press
Criteria-led shortlists a reader can use to decide.
Listed Press is the comparison desk. A page is for someone already choosing. It names the criteria up front, names the products, and says what each one is good for and where it sits next to the others. That is a different article from a daily product story or a single-product explainer.
The commercial terms, checked on listedpress.com/pricing, are the same shape as the sister desks. Free reciprocal: one shortlist page per project, dofollow product link, your site credits listedpress.com while the page is live. Free nofollow: one page, rel=nofollow, no credit. $29: unlimited shortlists, dofollow, no credit, comparison-tuned SEO/AEO/GEO, FAQ schema, structured data, llms.txt, Markdown twin, custom image, Pinterest pin, IndexNow, and up to three relaunches. Five free pages a day at 08:00 UTC. Paid pages do not consume those slots.
A shortlist is useful when the search is “best X for Y” and a logo grid would not answer it. It is the wrong desk if the product needs a long walkthrough of one decision — that is Piece Press — or a one-screen opening — that is Hed Press. Listed Press states domain rating 0 and tells you to verify the live link rather than trust a ranking promise.
Evergreen listing
Should you launch on Listed Press?
List here. Do not treat Listed Press as launch day.
Listed Press is a catalog page, not a hunter room. There is no 18-hour comment thread to win. The value is a crawlable URL, a possible backlink (Dofollow on the reciprocal free plan and the $29 plan. One product link in the shortlist. A separate free plan is not followed), and showing up when someone — or an assistant — compares tools.
Do this on a quiet afternoon, with the same one-liner you used on AlternativeTo and your homepage. Paying for a featured slot before the free listing exists is usually backwards.
When: Any week. Best in week 0–1 so the page exists before humans arrive from a board.
Launch here if
- A permanent roundup with named criteria, not a badge wall
- A contextual dofollow link inside a comparison a person can scan
- Search intent that is already “which tool,” not “what launched today”
Skip if
- A product that does not fit the criteria the page states
- Buying your way onto a list that does not name why you are there
- Treating stated DR 0 as an aged editorial domain
This page answers Listed Press only. For an ordered stack by stage, buyer, and goal, use the shortlist recommender or the four-week sequence.

How to submit
01
Name the criteria before the product
A shortlist that cannot say why the product is on it should not be submitted. The page is the criteria plus the names.
02
Submit one project, then pick a plan
Reciprocal, nofollow, and $29 are per page. One reciprocal and one nofollow per project. $29 pages are unlimited.
03
Read the live shortlist as a stranger would
If you cannot tell why your product is next to the others, the link is a directory row with extra words. Fix the criteria or use a different desk.
Tips
- Use Listed for “best X for Y.” Use Lede for a daily story about one product.
- Do not buy five $29 shortlists that repeat the same sentence. One honest page is the asset.
- Confirm the anchor rel on the published URL. Pricing copy is not the link.
